This kimono is made from hemp fiber grown and processed in the province of Vicenza.
The fabric is made on hand looms dating back to the mid-19th century, where each thread is slowly woven, following a rhythm that belongs to the Italian textile tradition.

The weave is textured, vibrant, and naturally irregular: an authentic characteristic of hand-weaving that makes each piece unique. Hemp, durable and breathable, maintains its structure and character over time, adapting naturally to the body.

The kimono's loose, flowing silhouette enhances its versatility. It can be worn open over a shirt or t-shirt, or tied with a handcrafted hemp cord made in a historic 18th-century cord mill, also located in the province of Vicenza. This detail reinforces the connection with the region and the continuity of the local manufacturing tradition.

Every step, from fiber selection to weaving, cutting, and final packaging, takes place in the Vicenza area. A short and controlled supply chain that restores value to the material and human labor.

This item is made to order.
Made-to-order production stems from purely artisanal needs: the time it takes to hand-weave and tailor the garments requires care and precision.
