Our artisanal hemp supply chain is based in the Vicenza area. The time and work involved in handweaving are part of what makes these garments special.

  1. Local fibre

    The hemp is grown and processed in the province of Vicenza.

  2. Handweaving

    Each thread is woven on looms dating from the mid-nineteenth century.

  3. Cutting and sewing

    The work continues in the Vicenza area, through to the finished garment.

  4. Made to order

    Kimonos and waistcoats take 2–3 weeks to make, before shipping.
